Getting around Bristol

Bristol is a great city to explore on foot, but if you need to give your feet a rest there are a host of other options for getting around Bristol!

Bristol on foot

The other great piece of news is that we are in a great location, so you really don’t need a car if you are thinking of getting around Bristol. We are in easy walking distance of all the main attractions:

• Cleyro serviced apartments to Bristol harbour waterfront and restaurants = 11 minutes
• Cleyro serviced apartments to M Shed = approx. 15 minutes
• Cleyro serviced apartments to Brunel’s SS Great Britain = approx. 25 minutes
• Cleyro serviced apartments to the Wills Building, Bristol University and to the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery = 20 minutes

Bristol by boat

A cheap and fun way of getting around Bristol is by boat. Bristol Ferry Boat run a regular service which passes close to our Cleyro apartments. You can pick up the boat at the Redcliffe Back landing stage.  The ferries run every 40 minutes, 364 days a year.

Bristol by bus

Bristol has an excellent bus network, and most buses are run by First West of England. You can download their travel app to find out which bus you need to catch and where to catch it. It also gives you real-time information on all its local services.
